“Mama-Lu” is the creative project of Lucia, a student turned mom, who came back to finish school and saw college anew through her “Mama” lens.
Lucia looked around at her new classmates and saw her kids’ friends and her friend’s kids (literally!). Being in college as a young adult can be a wonderful time of growth but it can also be lonely and hard. On the other end, sending your precious children away to school is not easier just because they are adults. Mama-Lu began as an idea to give college kids heartwarming messages, but there’s nothing as heartwarming as an authentic expression of love.
Bringing students in Rexburg real love notes from friends and family is what Lucia is setting out to do.
